Question
A flat rack container has no sides or roof, and its ends can often be folded down flat. Available in 20ft and 40 sizes, flat racks are used to transport large, bulky, or unusually shaped goods on cargo ships when they can’t be loaded into a standard container. Flat racks with the ends raised and locked into position can also be stacked.
Did you know?
Flat rack containers helped make the transport of oversized machinery more practical. Without folding ends and open sides, many industrial loads would require custom transport solutions.
